Privacy Policy

Family Medicine Organizer is a local-first Android app for organizing family profiles, medicines, reminders, appointments, and medical record files. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.

Information you add

You may enter names and profile details, relationships, medicine and dosage details, schedules, dose history, stock information, appointments, emergency details, and medical record files. This information is stored in the app’s private storage on your device. The app does not require an account and does not upload this organizer data to a developer-operated server.

Prescription scanning

If you choose a prescription image, text recognition runs on your device. The app presents possible medicine details for your review. You must confirm or correct the information before it is saved or used to create reminders.

Notifications and device features

The app uses notification and alarm permissions to deliver the medicine and appointment reminders you create. If enabled by you, biometric authentication is handled by Android to unlock the app; the app does not receive or store your biometric data.

Advertising and consent

The app displays Google AdMob advertising on the More screen and uses Google’s User Messaging Platform for consent choices where required. Google Mobile Ads may collect or share an IP address (which may be used to estimate general location), app interactions, diagnostic information, and device or advertising identifiers for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Data is encrypted in transit. The app does not send the family profiles, medicine information, schedules, appointments, medical records, or prescription images you store to the advertising service.

Sharing and exports

The app only shares or exports organizer information when you deliberately use an export or Android sharing action. The destination you select will handle the shared file under its own privacy terms.

Retention and deletion

Your organizer data remains on your device until you delete it in the app, clear the app’s data, or uninstall the app. Files you export or share are controlled separately by you and the destination you selected. Information handled by Google is retained under Google’s applicable policies.

Security

The app uses Android app-private storage and lets you enable a PIN or biometric app lock. No method of electronic storage is completely secure, so protect access to your device and review exported files before sharing them.

Children

The app is intended for adults and caregivers. It is not directed to children, even though an adult may organize information for a family member who is a child.

Your choices

You can deny or later disable notifications, delete organizer entries, clear app data, uninstall the app, and review advertising privacy choices where the consent interface is available.
